Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

TOP - The Ops Portal

The Ops Portal (TOP) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity across all of its business operations.

We recognise our responsibility to take a robust approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and within our business.

Our Business

TOP is a service provider to businesses, offering streamlined operational solutions through innovative technology and high-touch support. We work with a wide range of clients and vendors, and operate with professionalism, transparency, and accountability at all levels.

Our Commitment

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our own business or our supply chains.

Policies and Practices

To support our commitment, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Supplier Due Diligence: All new suppliers undergo a risk assessment and due diligence process to ensure alignment with our ethical standards, including compliance with labour laws and human rights obligations.
  • Employee Code of Conduct: Our internal Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for ethical behaviour, including a strong stance against any form of exploitation.
  • Whistleblowing Mechanism: We provide secure and anonymous channels for staff, suppliers, or other stakeholders to report concerns related to modern slavery or unethical practices.
  • Training and Awareness: Staff involved in procurement and operations receive training to identify potential signs of modern slavery and to act appropriately if they encounter suspicious situations.

Risk Assessment

Although TOP does not operate in high-risk sectors, we regularly evaluate our supply chains, especially where services are outsourced or materials are sourced internationally, to identify and address potential risks.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to reviewing and improving our policies and practices regularly. This includes monitoring supplier performance, auditing compliance, and updating our staff training to reflect the latest standards and threats in this area.

This statement has been approved by The Ops Portal’s leadership team and will be reviewed annually in line with our ongoing commitment to ethical business practices.
