Since 2006, Louise Harris has worked across the many facets of franchising, from being a franchisee, to growing a franchise from scratch, as a franchisor.

She is on a mission to show how franchising can be a fabulous choice for expansion for many businesses, and the right choice for business ownership for many individuals.

Often, businesses fail to launch as franchises despite an excellent concept and/or model. If this is simply a resource issue, Louise’s company, Franchise Projects, can often help.

Louise has been described as “Franchising’s Wonder Woman”. She previously led EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising), sat on the board of the BFA (British Franchise Association), and was the inaugural Chair of the BFA Supplier and Advisor Forum.

Louise is a Qualified Franchise Professional (QFP) and has worked with the BFA to develop new modules and refine the existing programme.

Additionally, Louise writes for Elite Franchise Magazine and serves as a judge for the EF100 and Workbuzz Best Franchise Awards.

Whilst franchising is her home, Louise has also worked in corporate life for many years, including at KLM Airlines and an independent serviced office company. She understands the importance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all businesses and is eager to help companies build on their success by sharing best practices.
