The Story

More Than Loft Ladders (MTLL) started out in Bolton back in 2007, installing loft ladders and hatches – as well as boarding out attics – in homes throughout Lancashire.

Since then, the company has grown from a small, local outfit into a truly national brand with a network of loft ladder installers, throughout the UK. Importantly, though, MTLL has always stayed true to its roots, choosing to grow by recruiting trusted, local franchise partners in every region.

These local business owners, all operating under the More Than Loft Ladders brand, make sure each and every customer receives the same, consistent high standard of service and care.

The Ops Portal felt like the obvious platform for us having got to know Louise through the franchise community.  Louise’s experience of franchising and manual writing, and her good standing in the industry, made it a very easy choice.

The Process

Having recently taken over MTLL after nine (9) years as a franchisee we needed to update everything.   The manual was a paper version which had not seen the light of day for over 10 years. We basically had to start again.

Starting with the old manual Louise created our online version, The Loft. Louise spent a couple of days with us at MTLL HQ and really got beneath the skin and transformed what we had.

The Outcome

The Loft has been a resounding success!
